His main research subject is the critical edition of the gynaecological treatises of Hippocrates in the Collection des Universités de France at Belles Lettres.

These treatises are closely related to the fields of pharmacopoeia (as they have preserved extensive catalogues of remedies) and gender (for the status they give to women as patients).
